New to the Jagaur Forums...

Hello All...

I have read through some posts about my Jaguar Model: 2001 XJ8L 4.0 and found very useful information...and, I wanted to become a member in order to see if anyone can assist me in getting my car started again.

I will post my questions on that subject in the appropriate section afterwards.

This Jaguar is my 5th Jaguar...previously owning a 1991 XJ6 Vanden Plas...a 1990 XJ6 Soveriegn...a 1994 V12 Vanden Plas...and still have a 1994 XJ6 Vanden Plas (which also won't fire-up anymore...ugghh)

Since 2006, I have only been driving Jaguar Automobiles...and just currently have been experiencing these "cranking engines...but, no-start" problems.

I have seen that there are many knowledgeable members here in on JaguarForums...who have an abundance of more knowledge than I ever will.

I hope to become friendly with many of you and hopefully gain some much needed knowledge as well.

I have been up all day and night working on my 2001 XJ8... and just noticed that I typed: New to the Jagaur Forums! Sorry about that...New To The Jaguar Forums!

I posted the querry about my No-Start/No-Spark issues in the correct section, in some detail. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts, suggestions or knowledge on this subject. Regards, W. Paul

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
