New to Jaguar

Hi all, I just purchased my first Jaguar, a 2002 XK8 convertible. I've always admired Jaguars but never looked into owning one until now. I found this one on AutoTrader from the original owner with only 53000 miles.
I live in Brooksville, FL north of Tampa, I retired from IBM in Muncie, Indiana and moved to Florida full time last year. I used to do a lot of my own service on vehicles but my health doesn't allow me to do very much anymore. I still do a lot of research to understand how everything is supposed to work and do as much as I can.

Very lucky to find a one owner 2002. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks ElinorB, the hurricane missed us for the most part, we just had a little wind and some rain and now we're back to sunshine and humidity.
