Default New to me Jaguar day 2014 XJ

Hi there

Just bought a Jaguar XJ to replace my long time suffering LR3. The new to me Jag is a 2014 model and has arrived without keys (I know right) so right off the back I am looking for all sorts of manuals before the key people come and sort me out on Sunday :-)

For instance how the heck do I get in to the glove box? The little sensor button doesn't seem to want to play ball

Chars

Garry

Welcome to the forums Garry,

Good to have you with us.

If you don't have the Owner's Handbook, it can be downloaded from JLR:
https://www.jaguar.co.uk/ownership/h...j-library.html

Looks like 2012MY was the last update to the handbook.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-x351-53/ to the X351 forum for help, advice and information. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums and good luck with the Sunday safe crackers.

Graham

Thanks Graham

Always fancied an XJ and this one popped across so I snapped it up. Just got to get those safe crackers as you say to get the keys sorted.

Thanks for the info as well, looking forward to getting stuck into some manuals - if the LR3 is anything to go by then I may need this :-)

Thanks again

garry
