Default New Member 1987 XJS

New member to forum and am excited to exchange information. Just bought a 1987 XJS with 60,000 miles. Wasn't running when I bought but replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, couple of relays, & battery and no runs like a champ (Purrs like a kitten. Ha) Next I am on to the brakes. The fronts look fine but the rear rotors are trashed. Tried to bleed back brakes but broke the bleeder valve off the caliper as it was completely seized in there. Decided just to replace calipers, rotors and pads on the back and start off with clean slate. One question I have is whether I can do this work under the car or is it smarter to drop the rear IRS. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

Great to be here!!
