Hello,
New member here. Been a long time reader and thought I'd might as well join up and quit lurking. I've got a 2009 Jaguar XF Premium Luxury with the 4.2L N/A engine and have had it for two years. Always been a big Jag guy and pretty close to the description Clarkson, May and Hammond gave of jag drivers when they reviewed the 2010 XJ. I haven't done anything to my car as of yet, aside from adding Pirelli P-Zero All Season plus's (after having to drive from Revelstoke to Calgary on a half sized spare when the previous tires burst midway from Vancouver to Calgs) and put on Ace Alloy Convex wheels, which I think are just short of absolute perfection in alloy form. This monday I am actually having a slight visual modification done. Taking inspiration from Harry Metcalfe (of Harry's Garage, on youtube) and his XJR/Project 7, I'm having the mesh on my grille sprayed gloss black and wrapping the chrome surround in orange, in a bit of an homage to one of my favourite D-types. I'm terribly hoping it'll be tasteful and not too obscene. I'm also looking to do an exhaust modification, but I'll save that for another post looking for advice.
