I am very happy to be a member of this forum. I recently buy a beautiful black 1997 XK8. I saw that someone is selling and because of curiosity I went to see this machine. When I seat in the car with my friend, I said, this Jag is mine
Now I am buying a Timing chain kit + water pump for my vehicle. Someone told me that FAI is ok.
I also have a 1972 Lancia fulvia coupe, is a wonderful car but nothing like the XK8.

When you do the water pump, it is also a good opportunity to replace the original plastic thermostat tower with an aftermarket aluminium version and a new thermostat. The plastic tower is a know weakness on the XK8.
