Hi there... I'm a longtime Jaguar owner, with a XK150 (and a '94 XJ12, which I sold years ago), but I just jumped back into the modern-pool with a 2003 XK8 that shows 84,000 miles on the odometer. Definitely a dream car for me.
Right now, I'm working out some issues with the car, as it sat unused for roughly 3 years (ugh) and it has the expected maladies, including fuel delivery problem(s) and a leaking hydraulic something-or-other in the front header area of the convertible top (haven't gotten a chance to examine that yet). Also, the car has a few front-end suspension issues (the usual suspects) but otherwise, WOW. I'm fortunate in that I picked the car up relatively cheaply in anticipation of these problems, so it's just a matter of running down the issues and making the repairs.
Just as an aside, I've already referenced this forum several times in my pre-purchase inspection, diagnosing an oil leak, and replacing the spark plugs... It's wonderful to have so many knowledgeable people contributing! - Evan

Welcome to the forum Evan,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
