Default Continuation of intro

Sorry I'm from Las Vegas Nevada my 2014 XF has 29,000 miles on it have been driving it perfectly for the past 2 months I go to the doctor's office this morning no issues, I leave doctor's office and car is driving a little sluggish then starts making a whining noise. I drive the car figuring it will ease up so I travel on to the pharmacy about 3 miles turn off car and pick up prescription. Start car up about 20 minutes later and as I accelerate it starts whining again so I give it a little gas and the check engine light comes on. I take it to parts store and have check engine light read and code comes up PO299 now I'm at wits end trying to figure out what went wrong. Can someone please help!!!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

P0299 =
Turbocharger underboost. It could be as simple as an induction leak or a failed sensors or as bad as a failed turbo.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Is that a cryptic remark, "loved it up until now"?
Does that mean something happened so you don't love it now?
Or is your love for your car continuing?

Welcome to the forums form ElinorB.
