Hello I'm new the forum. My name is billyat 1018 and I just recently bought my wife an 2006 XJ8. She is totally in love with it. We have a small ranch in south Texas. This is our first Jaguar, I am hoping to use the forum to get advice on different issues as they arise. Thank you

Welcome to the forum billyat 1018,

Congratulations on the XJ8. I bet a 'small ranch' in Texas is about the size of an English county! :icon_lol:

Welcome to this friendly forum. I bought my wife a tractor - but she's managed to break that.
Follow Graham's good advice and enjoy your visits here.

Welcome to Jaguar ownership. I call my X350 (an XJ6 SPort) my aircraft fuselage on 4 wheels, as it's built like an aircraft using rivets and aerospace glues. There are very few welds on the body shell. SO its a light car and this shows in fuel mileage; very important here in Europe with petrol at £1.35 a litre.

You get all this plus the Jaguar style for not much money. It has to be a bargain in any book.

What more could one ask !!
