Dear all,

I joined the forum recently so let me introduce myself : My name is Hervé, I live between Dubai and France and i'm french. I own a Jaguar XF V6 3.0 from 2009, which I purchased last year in Dubai.

Now, my family and I are going to change our "base camp" from UAE to France, so I'm trying very hard to import the car to France.. The help of the forum members for this is invaluable, I will let everybody know how it can be done, if I manage to do it...

(My car is not from US origin, it was first purchased in UAE, but the procedure to import it in France is similar as soon as the car was not 1st sold in the EU).

I've been following your posts about importing the XF to France and don't envy you the battle with French bureaucracy!

Follow this link XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XF/XFR section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I know you've already found the Europe Region section so no need for a link to it from me.
