Hello everybody,

I guess this is where you introduce yourself. My name is Dave and I am the new owner of a 2005 Jaguar x type 3.0 high model. I live in Long Beach, California USA and this is my first Jaguar but I am already a fan. Also i have worked a great deal of time as a mechanic on american muscle so hopefully I can translate over to the European world of automotive wrenching smoothly. I look forward to joining this community and hope i may be able to help some of you as well.

Hello, Dave,
It always helps to have wrenching experience when you own a Jaguar. Some things are the same on any car, but some thing are uniquely British.
Congratulations on your new acquisition, by the way.
Welcome to the forum from ElinorB.

Welcome.

As Lnr said, wrenching is wrenching, but Jags just do it better, HAHA.
