Hello,
Thanks for the forum, it has already been a whelth of information. I recently aquired a 99 XK8. The first thing I did, with the help of the forum, was replace those pesky timing chains and tensioners. As it ended up mine were the upgraded ones but since I already had the motor apart I went ahead and did it anyway. The car is running great. I spend most of my free time in the garage putsing with my old British motorcycles so this car was not a stretch, though it is a bit more complicated. Thanks again for sharing the information that is needed to keep this thing going.

Hey there n welcome aboard Tony
Glad you decided to join one of the friendliest and fastest growing Jag forums around.
The mods have already welcomed you, nice one, they don't miss many, top guys and there to help if needed!
I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better enjoy the site and all its features. If ya have pics of your car post em up and share them, if ya have pics of yourself, you might wanna share them in the mug shot thread located in the off topic section.
Enjoy the forum
The bikes are a 72 triumph trident a 67 norton atlas and I am currently restoring a 71 bmw r50/5. I will take some pics of the car and bikes for the site. I restored the triumph about 8 years ago and it has been my daily rider, the Norton is in the middle of being restored but I put it on the back burner for the bmw, which I plan on selling when it is finished to help fund the rest of the norton restoration. Thats what I tell my wife anyway. I figure if I put a high enough price on it maybe the bmw won't sell and I'll have to keep it too.
