New member with MKv Drophead in UK
Hi, I am now the proud owner of a 1950 MK V drophead which has only done 5k miles in the last 15 years but stored in a warm dry private museum. All looks really good but Im just starting a recommissiong programe, the usual, all oils, water, petrol, points and brakes. However after not being used for over 4 years is there anything specific that anyone recommends that I should check/ clean out? One thought was the 2 oilway plates on the side of the engine?? Any thoughts welcome.
Cheers Alan

Welxome to the Forums.
Long time since a REAL Jag appeared here..
Not the Tech Area, BUT,
ALL rubber hoses etc, water, brake etc, need inspection, Brake innards, YES.
Side platea, maybe, but if the oil is clean, no.
There will be all sorts as the miles tick over, BUT, since there is NO Computor, or other Electrickery in sight, easily sorted.
Enjoy the Beast, and Good Luck.
