Hello, I'm Dave and I'm an ex-Brit living in South Australia.

I bought my Jag about 3 months ago, and on balance I think it's the best car I've ever owned! Certainly the best Jag I've ever had anyway - comfortable, looks great, a pleasure to drive, and it has more grunt than I'll ever need!

And as an old codger, I think it will probably do me now, for the rest of my term. Hopefully I'll get another 20 or more years out of it before I'm sent to the breakers' yard.

I was drawn to this site while researching the possibility of upgrading my audio and incorporating bluetooth. Such a lot to learn! But it looks as if there's lots here to read and assimilate, so I'm very happy to have found you folks.

Cheers, Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X308 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the Australia - South Region forum by following this link Australia - South / NT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Default Welcome Dave . . . great to have you join us

Welcome Dave . . . and greetings from a fellow enthusiast in Australia.

Great to see another next door neighbour popping up in Adelaide, and we encourage you to use the resources and technical help available here, as well as contribute to the friendliness that keeps members coming back long after any problems are resolved.

Best wishes,
Ken

Thanks again for your friendly welcome, guys. Heh, I like those little animated smilies, how do you include them in a post? I tried dragging one from the side panel into my text but it didn't work.

Default Slippery Little Suckers, eh?

Hi again Dave,

Just make sure your cursor or point of insertion (ouch!) is located where you want the smilie to appear
then simply [mouse click] on the smilie you want . . . Bingo, it appears in your text.

Be aware also that if you click on the [More] button below the pane of a dozen or so smilies on display, new pages will open, to reveal an Aladdin's Cave of many more. We suspect that such is the attraction, some members are still wandering about in there . . . lost in the richness of untold choices . . .

Best wishes,
Ken
