New Member- Repairing water hose under Supercharger
Howdy from Austin, TX; I have a 2004 STR with hose leak under the blower and would like any advice you can offer. I'm not going to pay the dealer $1,850.00 to repair a ruptured hose even if it is down under the blower. I'm attempting to use the JTIS DVD software, but it's a maze.
I'm also planning to ship my supercharger to Stiegemeier's in St. Charles, MO. to have it ported along with some other improvements called the "Snake Bite" kit. Supposed to add 70 RWHP for a total of 460 HP. If you've had experience with porting a blower please fill me in.
I'm from Austin, TX, 66 yrs old, married, two children, served in the U.S. Army-Vietnam era, daughter is in the U.S. Navy with 15 yrs. service and just became a Leiutenant j.g.
So long for now

I recommended reading this previous thread in your first post about the coolant leak, and there is some valuable input from qwiketz inside, who tried it himself also.
