new member (Russia)
Hi everyone! in am a fresh owner of 86 jaguar xj vanden plas. i live in Russia. Big fan of old jags since i was a kid and two similar red 3 series of some mobsters was parked in my neighbourhood. The time has come! i broght my jag in end of december 18.
it was in good condition with a very small amount of rust but was fuly resprayed (not very good actualy ) and after respray previous owner leave it for a decade in a garage almost fuly disasembled. so i just found this resours and looks like it has a lot infomation and lot of owner of such car. ) |

things goes very slow. and a main reason is lack of spares and time to do somthing with a car. current state is this
full brakes revision new brake disks and pads new brake fluid lines and renovate brake calipers.
