Noob interested in 2003-2009 XJ Super8
Hi All, Trying to gather background on Ford years XJ's specifically Super8's.
My wife always loved the body of the the British cats and saw a few pics of the 2003-2009 models and said "Thats what i want". If im filling her needs i thought id get a want of mine, the supercharger.
Seems like the 2004/2005 might be the most suited year to someone who wouldn't call themselves a mechanic but handy tinkerer? Currently I have a 83' CJ, '89 Lebaron GT conv (summer daily), 1990 LS400 (daily), in addition to my wifes 07 Ford x-ploder, and daughters 04 ES330. So don't mind getting dirty with maintenance but will farm out bigger jobs. I've already read the Sticky for the XJ's. Any further leads on Links or Sites to join would be appreciated. Thanks -Joe

Welcome to the forum Joe,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I've always been wary of the introductory year model of any Jaguar. Often design issues are resolved during the first twelve months.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
