Pretty Kitty Arrived yesterday!
Pretty Kitty arrived in Vancouver, WA yesterday at noon. I drove up to see her unloaded from the auto transport, paid the driver and took her straight to the car wash. Bugs on the front and bird poop all over the top! After purchasing this car site-unseen, waiting more than two weeks to lay my eyes on it, I'm thrilled! It MORE than meets my expectations. Been spending the weekend detailing it again, plates, etc. I have a problem now. Can't keep my wife away from the thing!LOL
If anyone wants to know which car transport company to NOT USE, I'll be glad to share my ordeal. To make a long story short, what EVER they tell you on the phone, make sure it is in WRITING IN A CONTRACT! The carrier I used said one thing on the phone, and did just the opposite. At least the car was more than worth waiting for. I was a nervous wreck waiting all this time (for three days the transport company didn't even know who was driving the truck and where my car was!) OK, enough of my personal drama. The kitty is safely bedded down and purring like she has known me for ever! WOW. I can see why people swear by Jags ( I'm mean the good swearing! The good kinda swearing! Thanks for reading my post and viewing my pics in my garage. Got a couple of questions that I'll post in the proper section. Iv'e never liked cats, allergic to them,,,but love this one! The first cat I EVER LOVED!

Congratulations, looks very nice.
That's quite a drive from Keizer to Vancouver to have to pick up your car, but I'm glad you got it no worse for the wear.

Welcome to the site Gary!
Know what you mean about car carriers. They can be a real crapshoot. Good and bad, and hard to tell since most don't use them more than once.
I sub-contract with a car broker who often gets orders to find nice marques. I always try to convince the buyer to fly me to the car for inspection and driveback, over a car carrier.

Congratulations on the car!
My first S-type was sight-unseen hauled to CA from Atlanta; terrible transportation issues. The recent STR was sight-unseen out of Texas to CA and the back haul was a pleasure -You roll the dice and take your chances.
