My name is Dustin, 24 years old, and I'm enjoying the beautiful weather out here in Phoenix Arizona. I moved here in 2003 from Central New York to go to ASU and I fell in love with the state. I'm now working at a Rehab/Skilled Nursing facility as the marketing director and I'm loving what I do....Anyways...I'm proud to say that Ive been an owner of a 2005 VDP X-type for a little over a year now. Though the car is gorgeous it has cost me a pretty penny keeping everything running normal, but knock on wood, it has been running smooth as of late. I have been reading threads on this forum as a guest for a long time now and I finally decided to become a member! I have learned quite a bit from all you Jag owners/experts and have gotten some great ideas from looking at the amazing rides. I have a lot of plans for my WHIP (just need the $$$ first lol) and I'm sure I'll be leaning on everyone for advice or questions. I'm glad to be aboard!

I too love the weather this time of year in Phoenix. I went to school there in the mid 80's and this is the best time of year, IMHO. Keep doing your research here and you will most likely find the information to keep your costs under control and keep you X running well for many years.

Welcome, I know the feeling of getting the new car and finding out what parts cost but there are ways to reduce the bite! Ebay has been a good source for me but some things you just have to bite the bullet on! Happy motoring!
