XJ6 V8 conversion
 

Hi all, this is a great forum, and what a huge help for us first-time jaguar owners!

I've had my eye on my friends mint, 1987 Jaguar XJ6, for a few years. Now that he's finished the conversion, I made an offer two months ago and he accepted.

What a sweet handling/driving automobile. I purchased this for my wife as a fun in-town auto, the next week she went in for what ended up to be a total of 24 hours of vascular surgury, hopefully she can drive it next week.

Great to see many young jaguar owners in here!

Thanks Ibjags....I will send engine photos. Lyn is getting better with time thanks.

This rocket has fuel-injection and a mild cam...thank god! I was told to go light on the pedal...as the rear wheels will break loose, easy.
