Beautiful line up of XJs, thanks for sharing!
Hey, next time you pass the Ellerslie patrol base, say hi from England! We're big fans of "Motorway Patrol" here in the UK (Well......I am!)
Also quite like "Highway Cops" - you have a beautiful country - hope I get the chance to visit someday.

Just to follow on from this we are looking for 100+ Jaguars at the British and European car show at Lloyd Ellsmore park Howick on 3rd Mach 2019
The organisers already have 1000+ cars entered and we want to make up 10% of the displayed cars.
Below is the email from one of the organisers;
Hi Fellow Jag Club Members and owners
Our next car show as a club is the Auckland Brit & Euro Classic Car Show at Lloyd Elsmore Park Pakuranga on the 3rd of March. See attached promotional flyer.
The volunteer show organizers have just received the 1,000 th registration! Based on last years turn out of over 80 Jags your committee have booked 100 spaces, so we are under pressure to get 10% of the show.
This B&E is the fourth, annual event and is now likely the biggest show of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.
Entry is free for participants and the public so please invite your family and friends to attend from all over our Auckland region. There is to be a treasure hunt for children, with prizes. You will also very likely see the first car you owned. The Howick Historical Village are holding a live day with special entry prices. The show is catering for 10,000 + visitors and there will be plenty more food and coffee stalls compared to last year. If you want to just have a picnic lunch then the park enviroment is perfect, the club's new tents will give shade, but do bring chairs.
There is plenty of public parking, that is if friends haven't driven your other Jags to the show! Please bring all your cars, especially older models, and be part of this great occasion.
We are asking you to register your cars for this event so we can prepare the layout on Saturday the 2nd. This is important for such a large number of cars. Please send your registration to landphayward@xtra.co.nz Please do NOT reply to this email.
You will receive all the detail you need to find your arrival area and times to be there, on Monday the 25th of Feb.The club annual concourse will be held at the B&E. Details of this will be out on Monday the 18th of Feb.
Your committee are looking forward to seeing you there.
Laurie Hayward.

(Thanks...) Of course - because it's full of Jaguars if one knows where to look!
A few weeks ago the Jaguar Drivers Club met at a supermarket carpark for an outing. Wish I had thought of a photo - EVERY car in the outside carpark was a Jaguar (from XK150 to E-Type, F-Type and nearly everything else). And just as I was getting over that, lunch was at a member's place with - no kidding - THREE C-Types in the yard (some possibly replicas or stored for other owners). I plain can't remember whether the countryside looked beautiful or not. :-)
