Default xj 40 repairs

Hi to all,It has been a while since I posted any progress on the xj40,I have replaced the rear crossmember bushes but the knocking still persisted, next step was removing the right hand rear shock,I disassembled this and found the problem,some-one had done a very shoddy job of repairing the shock mount,a bush was left out and the rest is history, have ordered new parts so waiting for those.
On another note,I have finally been able to start my series 3 after 2 years sitting,I replaced the fuel pump but had no power feed, ran a wire direct and now the old girl runs, very noisy due to no exhaust, the diff is out so no exhaust fitted, but hey at least she still goes
