Lucky day, another new addition

Had a buddy of mine call me up and asked if I wanted a Saab 9-3 with the engine taken apart but only 73k miles. I told him I wasn't interested. He sent me a picture of it and my jaw dropped. A 2001 Steel grey Viggen. I immediately called him back and asked him if he actually knew what it was. He said I thought it might be a special edition or something, he had no idea he was looking at 1 of 95 steel grey Viggens that were imported to the US. I went to look at it and it could be mistaken for a new car with the exception of the engine carefully disassembled, all parts labeled and bagged. I bought it on the spot. I'm still pinching myself to make sure it's for real.

Congrats, the car looks a decent one .It will serve you well . A few annoying things according to my knowledge you can't remove the key unless tranny is in R . Most owners forget and fight to take the key out and hence ignition key barrel wobbles
You can't start your engine unless you fasten your seatbelt lol |

I'm no stranger to Saabs and their quirks. Not even sure I should post this picture (nobody laugh too hard) but here is me standing on my mom's 99 from way back once upon a time. I've had the fortune of owning a few cool Saabs but this Viggen is so far my best find for sure.
