What kind of evidence would change your mind? Would you change your mind if I show balanced trade stats? Would you change your mind if I show historical geopolitical cooperation, including bringing down Soviet Block, that wouldn't be possible without these allies? Or are all facts, including modern history, are fake news?

Payback. GOPers did the same to Obama every chance they had and still do !

But, personally, I'll give Trump credit on this.

I think it's important to keep expectations in check. Baby steps. Just easing of tensions is a step in the right direction. Hopefully we can build on this first meeting. I wish everyone would stop mentioning "denuclearization" at this point.

Well, by now everyone should be accustomed to Trump's capriciousness, including his entire cabinet and all of our allies. I'm convinced he'll say whatever pops into his head at the moment.

Aren't you Trump voters even a little worried about his Russia / Putin love ??? You don't smell something rotten ?

Money laundering is my guess.

He's a shady character, IMO. Swampy. A week's pay says that Donald is up to his ears in dubious, possibly outright illegal, financial dealings with the Russians.

It's simple.

If you want political opinion and reporting with an obvious right wing bias, you'll go to FOX.

If you want an obvious left wing bias, you'll go to MSNBC.

If you listen to either without realizing and acknowledging that you're getting obviously biased reporting and analysis of events, well, wake up and smell the coffee.

CNN? Sometimes good, sometimes not.

My liberal-ish friends/family have become very disenchanted with MSNBC because it has become too much like FOX. My conservative-ish friends/family still think of FOX as the best and defend it without any reservation whatsoever. I shake my head.

I listen to OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) which is an NPR affiliate. Excellent, non-dramatized analysis and discussion. Both sides always given equal time and they always invite rational, intelligent guests. Not ranting and raving hacks who merely want to manufacture outrage. Actual sensible discussion. Plus, no commercials and a really interesting and varied assortment of programming

A good source for reporting of news events with little or no editorializing is the Christian Science Monitor. Yeah, they have editorials but also lots of straight reporting-of-events.

Cheers

Snagged from another message board..

"If you think Russia, or any other country has never tried to exert any influence on our elections, I've got a bridge to sell you.

And if you think the US has never tried to influence, or full on intervene in other countries elections, I've got some magic beans to sell you too.

Evidence of Russian colluding with one side? There isn't any, unless you look at hillary's side, and obama's for that matter. That's the issue here, two years of investigations and still no evidence of any collusion by Trump or his cohorts. Despite the witch hunt, despite endless leaks from everywhere, despite questionable-at-best FISA investigations, despite the FBI and DOJ throwing everything at Trump, despite the State department still running interference for and protecting hillary, despite the obama's campaigning for hillary more than she did for herself and a deck so stacked against Trump any other human would have crumbled by now, there is still NO COLLUSION! But Trump can't prove a negative, so we will continue this very expensive dog and pony show, all the while protecting and insulating the last administration and all the things Crooked hillary has done."

Oh..and "collusion" is NOT a crime, especially an impeachable crime.
For some liberals, you might want to look over the constitution to see what actually are impeachable offenses, wishful dreaming and your so-called collusion are NOT on the list.
Grab some popcorn, liberal heads will be exploding very soon, might be fun to watch, especially the fake news media gangs..
Doesn't anyone think if Pres. Trump was "guilty" of anything, the leakers would have already done their deed???

Besides Fox, did the media EVER criticise obama.
Did they bash obama for meeting with Cuban Dictator and Murderer.
Accused Trump of wanting to start WW3, Now accuse him of wanting peace to soon.

Hillary said during campaign " we should embrace our enemies, help them with their most cherished goals, make peace" Media and left all behind her.
Talk about double standard BS.

The left media wants Trump to fail no matter the cost.
Media would bitch about which side of TP he uses.

More what-about-ism.

macdoesit, you made some very specific claims based on what you heard on Fox News.

Pretty clear cut obstruction of justice case against trump.

Money laundering a sure bet.

Why is he so enamored with Putin?

Why doe he demand slobbering servility of people around him?

Why does he act like a petulant spoiled brat when criticized?

Why does he constantly lie and double down on his lies every day?

Well, it's more plausible than Obama's secret tunnels under Walmart stores, built to harbor Chinese troops he brought in to take away all our guns

Pretty sure this congress would not impeach the president, well maybe they would if he was found standing over the body of Attorney General Sesssions with a smokin' gun in hand. Otherwise no impeachment .

money laundering ??? Yeah that mansion he sold in Florida to a Russian for double market value and during a housing slump, pretty sure that's money laundering. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I understand Trump being dirty, but don't understand him getting 40% approval rating.

Im guessing Mueller already has a grand jury indictment against Trump, but it's sealed, only to made public when the time right, i.e. After congress does nothing when presented with overwhelming evidence of "high crimes" .

Yes, I've read the Constitution, but has Trump ??? Not really a question, is it ?

Yes, many of them did, but since you only watch Fox you probably don't know that.

Why isn't Fox bashing Trump for meeting with North Korean Dictator and Murderer?

Well, based on the cars I see in this thread and those listed as owned and previous - I vote for ZRAY as the new president and Daim for VP - I mean a Shelby GT-350 and a few Galaxie's to boot? And dude Daim - that is the coolest looking XJ-S I've seen in a long while.

Sorry - is the word dude banned from Jaguar forum??

Peace out Jag owners

Mike D.

GOP Sen. Bob Corker (Tenn.) warned on Wednesday that members of his party are becoming "cult-like" in their support of President Trump.

Not the liberal media, not one of the "libtards", a Republican Senator with a warning.
