only has a punch if you can hit a target

I guess they know best as they are in the biz and current. Personally I would be spending money on making sure people can actually use what they already have, beyond spray and pray I mean.

Luckily, the constitution didn't have a "must be for hunting varmints and white tailed deer" clause. I like a lot about my AR15 but it just isn't very powerful in the 5.56 NATO. I like my AK more for its 7.62*39 chambering. Neither are hunting rifles. Deer get a bolt action 30.06, bird get the 12ga, large game get the 458wmg.

6.8 is a good move. A folding stock is a good move. We'll see where things go.

Rifles came in handy in 1775 for sending the arrogant Limeys packing back to Limey land. Course they were glad to see us in 1917 and 1941.

I think the fully automatic shotguns are great just as a weapon not specifically for military use.. Impressive.

I probably live a sheltered life but I have trouble dreaming up a scenario where a full auto shotie might come in handy. You would need to be at Zombie Apocalypse DEFCON 8 I think. Still , it looks like fun.

For the auto shotguns they have self propelling mini grenades in 12 bore. High accuracy over a greater distance and they explode on impact with the metal shot contents.
