Talking Official thread about nothing

This thread is dedicated to posting pointless thoughts, anecdotes, mundane daily events, your personal two cents and other mindless drivel not worthy of starting a new thread for. Conversation not necessary, but always welcome.

Such as: I borrowed my brother-in-laws new set of line wrenches yesterday. Broke the 5/8". Should have just bought my own.

I saw an XK150 at Home Depot yesterday. Can't imagine driving one there, I hate parking my XJR there as it is.

I'm 53 years old and got stung by a wasp for the first time. Can't say I enjoyed it!

My brother ran my xkr into a tree yesterday, the damage is minor but I was proud of the fact that my front fenders are the only panels that are completely bondo-free.

Looks like I'll be repainting my front end for the second time....

You'll never comprehend cultural dynamics south of the Tropic of Capricorn. Don't try.

Why does the USA treat the metric system of measurement as if it were the plague.

Perhaps a lot of people get run over in your neighborhood.

My wife gave me a strange look when I took the toaster to the garage to give it a service.

You can drink Martian water in deep underground caverns. They are located in the red sand near the landing zones of aliens.

Was it a one legged man?
Are there so many one legged people that the accident rate involving them is reaching epidemic proportions?
If it was your average accident with a healthy full bodied person, why didn't they come back for their other shoe?

Upon loading the washing machine ( I'm a new man ..lol ) and being doubly sure to load 5 complete pairs of socks.
The machine finishes its wash cycle, when unloaded only 9 socks ( 4 and a half pair ) come out.....the machine is totally empty, I've checked and its nowhere to be found??

This has happened numerous times, so the question is....

Where do all the socks go??

Not that its their fault, but one legged people sometimes have to walk slower. This might be politically incorrect.

And since when is ANYTHING in politics correct??
