Gappers

The opposite of tailgate. Those cars that leave 5 car lengths between them in heavy traffic, with everyone pouring in front of them. When you're stuck behind one, you cannot get around because the other lanes are moving faster.

Remodeling the kitchen this year, moved the old fridge, (Beer) and the old oven (powder coating) to the garage. No more long walks. My wife asked me If I needed help moving the bed too. Hum. Was that a hint?

When you support a local retailer and pay $146 for a sump gasket, then later that day see the exact same one online for $45,or $90 in a kit with rear main seal, front crank seal, timing cover seal and oil pump o-ring kit. Which I bought all of locally already.

Have you ever tried to drive the speed limit on the interstate? Where I live, it's 75. You try driving 75 in the right lane, you get caught behind every 18-wheeler on the planet going 65.

You try driving 75 in the left lane, and you back up traffic for a mile because everybody wants to go 85.

Why can't you drive the posted limit on I-45? Is it really too much to ask?

if I drove 75 in the left lane I would hit the back of every car on the road.
If I drove 75 in the right lane I would hit everything in front of me too.
THAT IS BECAUSE OUR STUPID GOVONERS HAVE A MAX 100KPH LIMIT WITH 0 TOLERANCE.

The owner of the place I work asked if I can "drive' into my space (as appossed to reverse)as I leave two black circles on the cream wall. He never noticed the 1152 days I rode the bike to work.

Blame the firearms laws! If not for those, people like the above would be quickly culled. Firearms laws are interfering with Darwin.

They do 65 in a 75 speed zone on the Interstate. That in and of itself doesn't aggravate me. The problem comes when you get that one 18 wheeler doing 64. Then the guy doing 65 will pass him. It literally takes the guy 10 or 15 minutes to pass the other guy, and they form a rolling road block that doesn't let anyone get by.
When they're not doing that, they're killing motorists by the thousands.

They should implement a 70 mph minimum speed in the left lane of the interstate, punishable by beating with a garden hose.
Ehh... we have a truck prohibition in the left lane on I-95 where I live and the truckers usually obey it if cops are around.

When you go to remove a part from a car, and it's held on with more than one bolt, and the bolt heads are different sizes.

Especially when said part is on the bottom of the car, the part is the transmission filter, and one bolt is the same size as the dozen or so bolts that held the pan on, and one is 2mm bigger!

Now I have to climb out from under my car, just to get another socket, when the engineer could just as easily used a bolt the same size as the socket I had been using for the last 10 minutes!

Sometimes I think automotive engineers should be keelhauled.
