Daimler Double Six 1995

Hello.

I have just got a Daimler Double Six from 1995 as a gift.
But i dont know which model this car goes under?

Maybe someone can help me :)

Kind regards

Model names, model numbers, and model years get confusing :)

Your car is roughly the same as a Jaguar "XJ12" of the same period....only some trim/appearance changes. Using the engineering/design designation it would be an "X305".

"X305" is a variant of the basic "X300" car. Another variant would be the "X306" which is badged as "XJR" and uses a supercharged 6 cylinder engine.

For the purposes of discusing the car on this forum I would use the "X305" section for topics specifically pertaining to the V12 engine or (the few) items specific to the 12 cylinder cars. Otherwise, use the "X300" section. It has more traffic/activity.

Cheers

Thank you for the answer!

I got this car as a gift, but i would like to sell it.
The problem is that i got no idea of what it is worth.
The car is in good condition and only driven 60000 kilometers.

+1 to Doug's explanation of model number.

You will have one like this?

Condition and service history is very important with any Jaguar or Daimler and both affect the value.

However, posts from members in Scandinavia suggest used values are very much higher there than elsewhere in Europe.
