I'm guessing the outfit pic is from early 80's going by the helmets?

I have a screen saver of 20k + pics ranging from the beginning of motorcycles until present ,every make and model I can find.

It must have been about 1976 or 77(I was 8 or 9), My Dad took me to one of his old rugby mates places to check out a race bike he was setting up for a teenager getting ready for a race at the Wanganui Cemetary Circuit.(road race in NZ that winds its way through the local cemetary)
It was the home of Ginger Molloy, and Mike Hailwood was there too(during his hiatus in NZ). The kids name was Robert, they were getting his GS750 sorted.

They don't make them like that anymore, riding three or four classes in a day. (Except maybe the Dunlops)

Indeed, just saw that William won the first superbike race at the NW 200 yesterday, Michael won the second and the superstock and Bruce Anstey won the supersport.

This geezer in the Jag has been fast on occasion, not pro like Fulton(not from lack of trying),just lack of talent. Just local club racing.

Looking nice, I hope you weren't out of petrol!

I've got a featherbed commando cafe racer locked up back in Scotland but no pics unfortunately.

I was watching the Cookstown 100 last night - 2 wins for Michael D with a broken arm!
Got the Northwest downloaded for the weekend.

No, not out of petrol. Carry spare 5 litres on B onnie when doing distance as the tank is painfully small(12 ltr),only a 220km range.

just looked like a good photo op.

Featherbed,sweet. I had a 56 Dominator 600 back in the 80's.

You are lucky with all that road racing going to air. We only get IOM, and delayed well after results have been published in local mags.
