It wont let me send you a PM, but yes I still have the RR tail light. It looks to be in excellent condition. I will have to look at the vents and make sure they are all good, but I know they are in there. By rear plate lights, you mean the license plate lights/lenses? Do you mean the whole chrome thing on the trunk with the lights in it and trunk button? If so, that will be $50 shipped.

The tail light will be $120 shipped, that's what the other went for and it appears to be cheaper than anywhere else. The vent panel on the back of the console will be $50 shipped. Let me know about the license stuff and we can talk more about that. Thanks for your interest though, get back with me if you are interested.

Gotta bump this again! Help me out guys, looks like I'm getting a divorce too! My Thunderbird also got hit by an 18 wheeler at work the other day

Shameless bump! I still have an almost-complete xj8 here! I guess I will have to continue stripping the car and just put it on ebay when I get some time if interest doesnt continue.

 

Which wheels are on the car and in what condition are they?

 

It has the ones with alot of holes around the outside with the silver finish. I am going to be putting those on my VDP though unless someone comes through with a good offer.

So, I will be selling my silver finish 99 VDP wheels and centercaps, which are in great shape and only missing one centercap. One of the caps has been installed less than a year.

 

The VDP wheels are not chrome and are in great shape? Any corrosion or clouding?

 

None that I remember. I have had the car parked at my parents house for a while since I am going through a divorce. I can snap some pics of them today and send those to you. The spare is also available!

 

I see from your photos that the passenger side airbag blew and the wood trim that covers it is partially off -- if that piece of wood has no cracks in it, I could use it. Also looking for the large wood piece on the driver's door - if there are no cracks.

BTW, pics of the wheels were taken, but I never uploaded them. I want to clean the dirt off to make better pics and that will also give me a chance to notice if there are any chips, etc.

Oldmike, I will double check that wood today. It has been so long since I opened the doors, I cant remember what the wood looks like.

 

Mechelement, here are the pics of the wheels dirty. I havent had a chance to wipe them off. There is no pitting or clouding I can tell. One of the centercaps has wierd dots all over the chrome that isnt noticeable until you are within a few feet. Here are the dirty pics though. PM me if you wanna talk any more about them. Our VDP is white, which is why I posted two white VDPs... I found a pic of a white '99 with your wheels on it and they look nice. Are those pictured below, the same wheels you have?
