For sale- 1997 Jaguar XK8 convertible with 2002 5.7 GM LS1 engine and 4L60E transmission conversion . Fast, fun, reliable, and unique.

Gorgeous car with excellent body/paint/interior/top. Rebuilt engine and transmission at time of installation. All else related to the conversion new as well. Other upgrades including lowered H&R springs and new shocks, 18" staggered wheel set, newer brakes with drilled rotors, Mina Gallery exhaust, Euro twin tail light conversion, billet front grill, and much more. Seats reupholstered in new leather- interior is beautiful. Conversion is complete and works well, including cold AC managed by Jaguar controls. Dash has full function including check engine light. Conversion done 4+ years ago and has some 10,000 or so miles since build. Runs and drives great, handles very well, and has a wonderful tone.

Professionally built. Can be serviced or tuned, like a standard 2002 Camaro. The engine thinks it's still in the Camaro and the chassis thinks it's still a stock XK8. The best of both worlds and a very fun car.

Moving on to other projects- this one needs a new home.

Wow it sold for a low price of just over $10,000. I missed out.

 

The reserve price was a very reasonable $12k- bidding came close, but quite there. High bid was $10,200.
