My own '99 XK8 was hit in the back a while ago. The body shop installed a NEW interior trim piece which goes between the tail lights in the boot/trunk.

Part number is: HJE5280AD

Upon completion of the repairs and upon delivery inspection I noticed this part did not fit correctly with the tail lights. We determined the AD part is for the 2000-2003 model year. The body shop left this part installed in my vehicle while the correct part was ordered and subsequently installed. This took about two weeks.

At the end of all this, the shop didn't want the AD part and simply gave it to me. As I said, it was in my car for about two weeks. Since then it has been sitting behind my desk gathering dust. I'm finally off my behind and am offering it to members of the forum for pretty much what it will cost me to package it and ship it off. I've seen it offered on Jagbits for around $70. This is my thanks to the forum and its members who have been so helpful over the years.

I'm asking $35, shipping included to USA addresses. Sorry for those of you outside the USA but I'm no expert on overseas shipping and customs and such.

The part is like new with just a couple of scuff marks where the floor panel snaps into place. Take a look at the attached photos. Finally, please verify this is the right part for your vehicle. I KNOW this is not for my '99 and while I did some research and believe it is for the 2000-2003 models, I can't guarantee it.
