For Sale: 2005 XKR 30600 Miles
Price dropped to $25,000. Unfortunately have to sell our 2005 pacific blue with ivory interior XKR. We bought the car last year and truly love it but finances dictate a sale. The car has 32500 miles on it, new front brakes just installed (rotors and pads), with the nav unit with the latest firmware available for this unit, recaro bucket seats, 20 in wheels, the drop your top mod and the pressure relief bypass for the convertible top. The car was treated with cilajet when we bought it and (supposedly) has a life time warranty. The car is in excellent shape.

Boy--that would almost have been my dream car back when I was looking in 2008. The color combination along with features such as the Recaro seats are a real plus. Good luck with the sale!

Saw a black one this morning and am wondering why I'm hesitating. Need to drive one 1st I imagine...!
How is the steering compared to an non blown car or even an XJR?

Can't comment on XJR steering but this car is the tightest I have ever driven. Can't comment on a 'non blown' engine since my previous car was a 94 tbird super coupehttps://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Lovely
I have been following this beauty for a while, here and at another site. Started doing research so I would know what I am getting into. My current concerns (because I don't know enough yet to have others), is: have the hydraulic hoses for the top been replaced with the ungraded hoses and bypass valve, and is the nav system updatable to current information, or is it permanently outdated? Really a lovely cat.

Some owners have fitted portable nav. units behind the wood panel.
Nav. units with a video output can also be retrofitted...but this is a costly upgrade.
Others have swapped in the 3-gauge cluster option instead, but to do this if you want to keep book-matched wood panels you need to swap the entire dash wood set. Some owners buy a set on ebay and sell theirs.
It does look like very nice car.
You might have to bite the bullet on the hoses....you are not going to find many cars for sale with the aftermarket upgraded hoses.

A dealer in S. FL has an 97, 50k miles, for 27500...not as pretty but a better car.
And there was that black 03 R 6 months ago or so in here that asked 23k and sold for 20k w.only 9000 miles. Just a free, unsolicited market analysis for you.

There was a policy on other auto forums I was on that when someone was selling a car there was an unwritten rule (or maybe even written) that there should be no posts criticizing the pricing. The guy is asking what he thinks is fair so if it sells it sells and if it doesn't it doesn't. That will give him all the market advice he needs. I hope he gets his price.

No. Sorry for any confusion those are the pics from the dealer we bought the car at. No different today then in those pictures. This is a private sale from suburb of Atlanta.

I have a similar car. '05, Pacific Blue and Parchment, w/speed mods and I refuse to sell mine. I love this Cat. Your color combo and Recaros is both rare and attractive. Hang in and do not give it away. Everybody and his brother has some shade of black, grey or silver, with a few gold, while and seafoam green ones and the odd radiance or salsa red, and a few racing greens. If you have 20" BBS, they were a $6000 option here in the USA, and the Brembos were $10,000 extra, as well as Pacific Blue was a $1,200 extra paint, and the Recaros were $1,000 each. List on your ride was around $121K and 32,500 miles is a creampuff category. Good Luck.
