Default 01 S-Type no headlights

01s-type 3.0l
I have no low beam headlights or running lights. I do have high beam, taillights, fog lights, and turn signals. I've checked all fuses and relays. I'm an ex mechanic so I've been able to go through some wiring diagrams and I'm leaning towards a bad gem module. Any ideas?

They don't often fail but it's possible. Could the stalk be at fault? They fail more often.

Is the stalk when the switches are in the column? My headlight switch isn't part of the column.

Either way, follow the workshop manual and I'd suspect the module well down the list.

Your right the headlight switch is NOT part of the stalk. But as an ex-mechanic you should know that the dimmer function IS in the stalk. This might be what's causing your problem?

Long shot but you could have 2 burned out lights too?

I posted this thread to get some feedback on a problem not to have someone make themselves better by criticizing my knowledge from a job I had 20 years ago. So congrats on your vast knowledge of the stalk. As for the headlights being blown I checked them and they are good.

You also know how to motivate people not to help you - which was the case so far.
