2000 S-type 3.0 heater valve and relay
Hello all-
I recently had a coolant hose split on my 2000 s-type 3.0. Replaced it, refilled with coolant and heater worked intermittently for very short time, but then could not get heater to work at all. Blower is good, but no heat. I had read that in some similar cases, this caused a heater valve failure, so I took it out to clean it and test it. Tested OK, but still no heat. Is there a relay/fuse that I may be able to check/replace which may be preventing current to the heater valve? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. mtfife |

You need to get all the air out of the system....

Can you get the air out by running it with the resevoir cap off or is there a trick to it?

I'm sure running it with the cap off till it reaches operating temp is sufficient. make sure your heater is set to high when doing this...
