Have a #7 cylinder misfire code after new coil and plug replacement. Car was driven about 2000 miles after these parts were put on before the light came on again for cylinder 7. Looking at freeze frame info it says it only happened 1 time at 1800 rpm and set the light. Also sometimes it seems to crank about 10 seconds before starting cold but not always. Put a fuel pressure gauage on it and the fuel pressure bleeds away to 0 after about 20 minites but comes right up when starting. Could the injectors be leaking down when not running. It does seem to smoke some when starting cold like raw fuel??????

 

You have P0307 and have replaced both coil and plug on #7?

Have you used the correct meaning of #7? On 2001 car, 1-4 in one bank, 5-8 in the other. See the FAQs for picture etc.

Did you clean plug well & what was in it? Did you reseal with dielectric grease?
