2004 S Type Won't Start
 

Please help. I looked at some old threads and couldn't find anything. I have an 04. The engine cranks fine and the there are no fault lights on. I tried listening for the fuel pump to kick on and couldn't hear anything. I have heard there was a problem with the fuel pumps. I assume the pump has given up. The car is the V6 with about 60K on it. The question I have is there anything else I should try? Also, there is about a $400 difference in price in the pumps for serial # M45254 and below and mine at M99435. Does anyone know if the old pump will work or am I stuck spending the big bucks? Thx for your help.
