2006 S-Type parasitic current draw- Resolved

After much head scratching and just a little bad language, oh alright a lot of bad language I tracked the parasitic current problem down to the Front Electronic Module not going to sleep and holding the 4 power relays ( 2, 4, 5 & 11 ) in the rear fuse distribution panel ON. I took a trip to Fredericksburg Pick-a-Part today and got another Front Electronic Module for $35 and replaced the failed unit. All is well again, 28 mA when the car is asleep. Looking at the Front Electronic Module data stream, all the inputs were showing the correct state with the ignition off and the key out but the module was constantly sinking the relay coils. I'm going to open up the old unit and see if I can find what went wrong.

Good on ya.

If you find that gremlin, it can be added to the ever growing list of fixes in the "stickies" at the top.

Good luck.
