2007 Jaguar S-type headlamps

I have totally restored my 2007 S-type. And yes, I bit the bullet and purchased two new headlamps....whew $750.00 later. The old headlamps had gotten "foggy." And no matter what you buy to clean/sand or whatever, it doesn't get them that "new" look. Anyway, I'm going to sell my old ones because they work fine. There may be a simple answer to this question, but does anyone know when I list them, how to find out whether the old ones are HID or normal?

If They Are HID There Will Be A Ballast Attached To The Housing By A Metal Bracket.

After Thought: At That Price They Must Be Halogen(Normal).

That's what I've been thinking as well. They're no brackets from what I can see on the headlamps. Thanks for the tip.

Tru dat, dealer charged me $1400.00 last year when a droop light had
to be changed...

I kept the old one to practice on, and keep the bulb, etc.

Oh, and my extended Jaguar certified warranty did not pay for it...

Strange your warranty did not pay. I had one of mine changed and indeed my Easy Care warranty covered it.

According to Brutal Jag certified and easy care are the same company.

You might revisit this to see if you can put in a claim. BTW mine was for bumper to bumper coverage, yours could be just drive train.

Yes if they are HIDS look for the box with the yellow warning tag. HID's require very high voltage and all that I have seen have this yellow tag.

Does yours have this?

No, they don't have this box. So, they must be regular headlamps. Thanks for the photo. That helps me definitively know that mine aren't HID. That way I'll know what to charge on ebay. Thanks a million.
