2008 S Type 3.0L changing from 300mm discs to 326mm
Having some problems fixing my rear brakes. I could not find the 300mm discs for less than a new mortgage and given that I needed new calipers too (handbrake seized) I decided to make the switch to 326mm discs. Now I am unsure if the mounting brackets for the installed 326mm disc will work on the 'designed for 300mm' set up. I thought I bought the caliper and bracket for 326mm but it does not seem to fit. Wondering if the bolt position for connecting the bracket onto the main assembly is in a different spot for the 300mm and 326mm brake systems? Or are the brackets offset more from bolt to disc surround?
Any help appreciated. This might be more confusing than anything.

I would look for a XF 250 desiel which is being broken and get the 326mm bits from that.
There does seem to be a difference in the part numbers between 300, and 326mm
Seasons Greetings? Or Bah Bumbug!! Which ever??
