Hi,

My wife's 2000 S-type 4.0 has suddenly started act up. After few miles of driving, the
engine fan kicks up to high speeds (loud fan noise) followed by "engine temperature high"
message. After 2-3 minutes the fan speed drops down and the messagegoes away. The
cycle repeats every 10-15 minutes. Faulty temperature sensor? I am having
the coolant replaced today. The car has 33K miles.
