Robert,

When I made the mistake last November of taking my wife to see and drive an XK8 convertible just for a couple of hours of fun, she quickly decided that she had to have one. I spent nearly three months trying to find the right car. I found two worth chasing, but could not manage to get the killer deal that I wanted on either one of them so I wound up walking away. My wife was sad and frustrated and really wanted a 2006 white XK8 ragtop. So I thought about it for awhile and then called George to see if he could help me. Within ten days he found her car at a pre-auction in Jacksonville, Florida. He researched it, I researched it, we both agreed it was an absolute creampuff, so I gave him the okay to go after it. Granted, this was very difficult for me to do - I'm a Type A++ guy who has to be in charge of all my major deals. I had to accept the fact that I would have to be a bystander during this transaction and allow George to drive the deal. But I knew that he would always have our best interests in mind and that he would keep me fully informed throughout the process....

George made it happen, this XK8 is truly my wife's pride and joy, it is everything she ever wanted in a car and more, and George got it for us at a $5,000 to $6,000 savings compared to the two other 2006 XK8 ragtops I had been chasing on my own (and they were not even the top-of-the-line Victory Edition version as ours is). And that savings includes George's well-earned finders fee as well as having the car shipped from Jacksonville to Raleigh....

Take it from an overbearing Type A++ guy who always has to be in control - if you are serious about acquiring the absolutely best car for the absolutely best price, George is your man. He has contacts all over the country and he will NOT put you in a car that does not exceed your expectations. I would do this again in a heartbeat because I quickly learned what you can get for your money when you trust a guy like George who always has his finger on the pulse of the high-quality used car market all across the country....

Hi Jon thanks for that, with a recommendation like that it makes me feel better about letting go of the rains. I will be contacting George to see what he can find, I have spent 3 months unlike the 2 weeks it took to buy the wife's XK but the we did have a bigger budget. I hope that you will see if you can get to the raleigh cars and coffee meet at waverly place in Cary so we can meet face to face it's great when you get a bunch of Jag enthusiasts together and put a face to a name.
