Anyone have the wiring diagram for S-Type front seats?

Hi,

I'm looking to check the wiring on my front passenger's seat as the lumbar and the up functions do not work. Also the seat heat doesn't work only on this seat. I suspect that either not all the wires are hooked up or perhaps hooked up wrong, as the guy I bought the car from switched out the seat bottom from another S-Type (due to a rail-issue) and wired it half-assed. I do have the old seat heating module.

Anyone have a diagram they could post that shows the seat harness connections?

2005 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 with lumbar and seat heat.

Did you try the "how to" section? :)

Could be a connector. Check elec guide in JTIS. Free download.

Remove 4 bolts holding the seat in place to the body and tilt to look underneath the seat and ensure all connectors are connected - then if they are check fuses/relay, then JTIS...

I found out that the salesman that sold the car to me had an issue with the track on that seat, so he replaced the seat bottom, and instead of replacing the main harness connector, he hardwired everything...so no connector!!

Norri- I took another look around the how-to section and found the electrical guide for the 2004 S-Type! (Not sure how I missed it originally)

Does anyone know if the 2004 and 2005 cars had the same seats/wiring?

My lady friend told me (in a stern tone), that I SHOULD get the seat fixed before winter OR ELSE!!!! (don't take seat heat for granted I guess) haha

It'll be the same wiring for the seat I reckon. Later on some of the modules moved to CAN bus but not relevant for seat heat etc.
