I'm in the market to buy new headlights, best price from dealership is $950.00 plus I have to pay shipping and state tax. I've received a price from a vendor for $830.00 plus shipping of $50.00 for both headlights. If anyone has a better price please e-mail of pm me. They are the auto adjust headlights.

They point towards the ground and I tried to read some of your post about how to fix them, but didn't really absorb everything. I would love to not have to replace them, but it sounded like you were putting a screw in them and I wasn't sure where the screw went. If you have more detailed info on how to fix them please educate me.

 

YES THE SCREW WORKS BEST ON STYPES, I GUESS ILL HAVE TO TAKE PICS, I DONT HAVE A BROKEN 1 NOW SO ILL HAVE TO ***COUGH*** SHOW YOU ON SOMEONES CAR, GIVE ME FEW DAYS...UNLESS YOUR IN A HURRY, OH IN THE MEEN TIME SLIP SOME RUBBER 3/8" HOSE BETWEEN THE HOUSING AND THE HIBEAM ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TO HOLD THEM UP ALITTLE BIT

i might have to figure out how to get you my headlights........i hate the haziness of the inside of them

 

Reading through these boards you find some excellent advice and easy solutions to problems that would seem extremely serious and very costly if you didn't know about them.

I hope I don't find these issues with my car but at least I'll know that it doesn't necessarily mean a trip to the dealers!

 

I'm going to try the fix first unless I receive a good price on the replacements

That was quick, you would think Jaguar would provide some sort of replacement cost or at least let all the techs know about a cheaper fix. You ever thougth about moving to Charlotte NC? Thanks for taking pics
