Brake pads and rotors recommendations

I've combed through the threads in frustration and thought I would start a thread that would make searching for member recommended brake pads and rotors much easier.

I need new rotors and pads up front. I have read a lot about the EBC pads. I don't autocross or race my Jag at all. So from what I've read slot and drilled is basically a waste for my style.

All said what do you guys recommend for different driving situations? I would imagine that the majority of us don't really race our cars so regular driving advice is what I would appreciate.

I recently purchased R1 Concepts Rotors and paired them with EBC pads. I went with the drilled rotors just for the looks really. However they carry a variety of different rotors, different prices. They also have a good deal on rotor+pads kits but i would go with EBC for the pads. Rotors come with a one year warranty against warping, breaking etc. I have had mine for a month now and am very happy with them, zero noise, good bite from the EBC pads and as a bonus, zero rust.

I fitted EBC redstuff pads on standard rotors.
Vast improvement and so much less dust on wheels.

Raybestos rotors and ceramic pads. Very happy.
