color of OEM front shocks

Default color of OEM front shocks
My recently acquired 2000 jag s-type 4.0 with computer control front shocks are green in color. Could this be original ??

I have an 06 s type r , original shocks....olive green color....i would say yes

Green colour means Sports shocks, not Comfort ones. Wires out of the top of them means CATS.
