Is there a step by step diagnosis for the front park assist.

for example when the system fails and you get the warning beeps, will the sensors still be ticking?

If the red consul warning light comes on, will the sensors still tick


Where is the front module located?

Can you remove the front sensors without removing the bumper cover?

If you remove the front N/S wheel and plastic inner arch can you get at the connector, for the front loom?

If you disconnect the module does the system have to be re-programmed?

is there a way to test a sensor with a meter?

Anyone that has any knowledge please add what you know, maybe we can put together a step by step solution

 

The module is in the spare wheel well on the left hand side and no it doesn't need reprogramming if removed. That's all I know.

 

The step by step solution is in the JTIS. It is free on this site. The factory manual has a complete troubleshooting guide.

Look at the top of this forum for JTIS. Then follow the instructions and get it installed on your computer. Massive amount of information in it!
