Gonna lower the STR soon, anything special needed?

I am gonna lower my STR soon once it starts to warm up.....

I know I will need a spring compressor, but anything out the normal taking out/installing the springs I would need or to watch out for.....

Lowered many of cars but these Jaguars seem to be its own beast when working on as in never SIMPLE!

Thanks!

I had the same questions and this is what Searanch wrote me on the subject.
"If you have done coil overs before nothing tricky. Be aware of the CATS connectors on the top of the shock."

You must get a four wheel alignment after install. If you purchased the H&R spring set for the STR you will get a dead level stance. The ride will remain pretty much the same but the handling is greatly improved.

The CATS system works perfectly with the H&R spring set. This mod should be the very first thing anyone does to an STR. It is without a doubt the biggest bang for the buck. The car looks better and the handling is what Jaguar should have dialed in.

Now if I could just find a limited slip diff that fits without a whole lot of rich pageantry and folding green.

Good luck...

Thanks and Yes I did get the H&R springs.....waiting until it warms up a bit and dont want to be a snow plow for others behind me in the Chicago snow storms we get.....

I agree w/ LSD and bigger rear end ratio.......LSD and 3:55 gears...FTW!
