Default "Growler" symbol on key fob wearing off

Any one else have this happen to their flip out keys?
The growler on the flip-out key is wearing away.

The question is - does anyone know if there are replacements made by anyone???

See pic of mine:

Mine is embossed in the metal, so will not wear off, perhaps you could find an embossed one on ebay

I'm surprised mine still has any color left on it. I dunno if a dealer could get that as a part or not. If you do get a new one, maybe laying down an extra coat of clear coat or two might help protect it.

Mine's in the metal but it's soft metal and is mostly worn down.

I'll keep you updated if I get anything sorted, just in case it's of interest to anyone.

The oils emitted by your fingers combined with the pressure you exert on your key fob buttons will eventually wear away the paint as well as the rubberized surface of the buttons. The best way to prevent this is to always wear a freshly-laundered pair of white cotton gloves when handling the key fob....

That's what Queen Elizabeth does, anyway....

I'm on about the growler logo.

I realise these things wear off in time. My question was not about why does I wear, but rather if anyone knew if there was a replacement sticker out there to make it look better.

I think she has people to do that! Unless she is driving over the hills in her Landie to kill something.

My growler is gone to, so let us know if you find a source.

A sticker would peel off or wear very quickly, I reckon.

You can replace the whole metal part including logo. (Or the whole key, of course.)

Can't see it matters, TBH.

All down to personal preference I guess.

Doesn't bother you, and it's not an earth shatteringly big problem for me either........ But I'd just like it not to be worn, purely my preference.......

Readily available, but cost quite a bit.
