I have the wiring schematics for the 2006 S type but it doesn’t appear to be correct as far as the parking brake module goes. Schematic show that there’s only two connectors and on my 2006 I have three connectors. The colors on the connectors don’t seem to match the colors on the schematic. The description of the two connectors in the schematics say that there should be a 14 pin gray connector in a 24 pin black connector but I’ve got two tan connectors and one black. One tan is 16 pins and the other tan is 12 pins and the black connector has 12 pins.

I have a spare 2006 S type and I looked at that module and it has the same number of connectors same colors as the one I just described and neither of them match the wiring schematics from Jag repair I need to apply power to the parking brake to release it since the spare parts car has the parking brake on and I need to move it so any help on which connector and which pins to apply 12v to would be helpful thank you

I looked at the schematics for all the other years and none of them seem to have this set up so I’m lost

So After posting in those pictures I realized that I’m looking at the parking aid module and not the parking brake module so I guess I need to look for the parking brake the schematics says that it is in the right hand rear And wouldn’t you know it there it is
